An eerie (almost Transylvanian!) electric organ solo begins this track. Once the last notes have faded away, a simple guitar loop comes into earshot and it builds into a very funky hook. Effective percussion and chunky bass, combined with Jocelyn Brown's uplifting and enthusiastic vocals, make “ Believe ” a vocal house success for Defected. This a fantastic mix that is sure to improve everyone's mood!

The track starts with some beats and looped subdued crowd noises. A funk piano melody provides a platform for a xylophone lick on top of which sit Jocelyn Brown's understated vocals. Spen and Karizma move the piano into a higher gear for the chorus and then back down the verses. This is actually quite an uncluttered mix with little more than the vocals, two layers of piano keys, percussion and quiet background voices. The remixers flourish towards the end of the mix when hand claps add extra energy which is then added to when Spen and Karizma drops the piano and leave the xylophone to pur until the end.

Harder kick drums signify the Subliminal's man extra production to this track. He keeps the melody in the background while Jocelyn Brown's vocals are stuttered as he brings in the looped trumpet snatch. Filtered channels are constantly being brought in and out of the mix until everything is taken out leaving Jocelyn's vocal on their own. Then as the beats re-appear, Richard F brings everything up for another breakdown. A harder take on “ Believe ”, although the repeated brass sample means that there is not a groove to speak of.
