King Unique Radio Edit
King Unique decide to simplify the rhythym and add Slarta John's rough vocals over the top. The piano riff is given more precidence in the mixdown.

Olav Basoski Radio Edit
A distinctively harder and faster groove is most noticiable in this mix. Olav Basoski have chopped up Hatiras' original electronic alarm effect and scattered the sample all over the record. Mechanical 'winding up' noises add extra power to the song, but Slarta John is a fantastic addition. The voice of Basement Jaxx's “Jump 'N Shout” spews UK garage lyrics throughout the breakdowns: “Massive!”. The popularity of this record comes from the ambitious juxtaposition of Canadian electro-funk and a Caribbean sounding garage MC vocal. Simply irresistible.

Original Mix
Hatiras uses a single, heavily filtered crisp piano note (which sounds like a quicker and more substancial version of the offbeat 'woh!' Azzido Da Bass' “ Dooms Night ”) to entice listeners in. A progressive piano melody beneath drives towards the breakdown and a time-stretched violin string that sits below everything helps to create the atmosphere. A great drum loop adds to the energy of “ Spaced Invader ”, as does a floating 303 sample.
